Organisers of Lancaster on Ice have announced the return of the Big Wheel to the attraction.
The 100 metre high big wheel is the largest transportable wheel in the UK, and will open on December 9.
The wheel offers wheelchair access in its cars so all customers can enjoy views over Lancaster and beyond.
The winter wonderland attraction in Dalton Square will be back between November 25th and January 8th.
The story of Lancaster on Ice began in November 2018, when the historic Dalton Square hosted an ice rink for the very first time, with real ice skating around the Queen Victoria Memorial at the centre.
It’s operated by The Borough, who earlier this yeast submitted proposals to the city council which could see the attraction extended to include a carousel and a Santa's Grotto.
Winners of the Lancashire Tourism Awards ‘Large Event Award’ 2019 and nominated as one of the best ice-rinks in the UK & Europe by the Guardian Newspaper, in previous year the attraction has included Christmas Market Stalls, a Giant Tipi Bar, 800m real ice, Ice-Rink and now, the Big Wheel.
Full details and ticket information is set to be announced in the coming days.
