A teenage Morecambe athlete has won a haul of medals and will now go on to represent England at the World Dwarf Games.
Amara Atkinson won gold in the javelin, discus, hockey and 100m relay at the National Dwarf Games in Birmingham.
The 15-year-old Ripley St Thomas school pupil also won silver in the shot put, basketball and football.
Amara, who has achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, has been competing at the National Games since the age of three and has won dozens of medals at the event since then.
Her mum Louise, who will support her at the World Dwarf Games in Cologne, Germany this summer, said Amara has loved sport from an early age, especially the javelin and football.

Amara is currently taking her GCSEs and wants to take PE at A Level, then go on to become involved in sport, maybe as an interviewer or reporter.
She is also hoping to compete in the World Dwarf Games in Australia in 2026 or 2027.
Here she is with Ellie Simmonds, five-time Paralympic gold medal-winning swimmer, who is also a patron of the Dwarf Sports Association UK.
