A splendid steampunk gathering will be back in Morecambe this summer.
A Splendid Day Out will take place from Friday June 5 to Sunday June 7 at the Kings Arms, Platform and the Midland hotel and this year's theme is 'Pirates of Mermaid Bay'.
Steampunk is a fantasy genre based on Victorian times with a modern twist.
Run by The League of Splendid, the event returned to Morecambe in 2024 for the first time in five years and last year's theme was 'The Age of Dragons'.
This year's event will include an artisan market full of unique traders, live music on the outdoor stage, and astonishing sights, like live mermaids swimming in their tanks along with displays, dancing, competitions, a fashion show and classic car display.
