Teenager sentenced after admitting making threats on Lancaster train

A teenager has been sentenced after admitting making threats to a female passenger on a Lancaster train.

The 17-year-old youth tried to intimidate a female passenger with threats of sexual violence on a service at Lancaster.

He pleaded guilty to the offence in court and was convicted of Threatening Behaviour.

The youth was given a one-year Youth Rehabilitation Order plus he was ordered to pay £426 in costs and a victim surcharge.
