Sir Ian Botham

An audience with cricket legend Sir Ian Botham is coming to Lancaster.

The England all-rounder, famed for his role in the legendary 'Botham's Ashes' series of 1981, will be at the Lancaster Grand on Monday, September 9.

The evening will be hosted by Sir Ian's former England team-mate, Geoff Miller, for a conversation about the colourful career of one of the most impactful all-rounders in cricket history.

Sir Ian's incredible career spanned over 15 years, marked by 14 centuries and 383 wickets. His iconic performances in the 1981 Ashes series against Australia led England to a 3-1 victory.

Known during his career as 'Beefy', the swashbuckling sporting icon was knighted in 2007 for his services to cricket and charity.

Botham, who is also known as a TV pundit, will discuss his prolific achievements, including being the fastest to the double of 1000 runs and 100 wickets.

The show starts at 8pm.
