Morecambe dominated the first half in a much more assured display than the one against Truro City on Saturday, and saw an early Sangare header cleared off the line.
The Shrimps took the lead in the 24th minute when Jack Nolan dispossessed a Tamworth defender in the middle of the park, drove towards goal and struck from distance and it found the back of the net for his eighth goal of the season.
Tamworth looked to get back into the game and Ben Acquaye looked to bend one into the top corner, but Jamal Blackman was there to make the stop once again.
The visitors equalised against the run of play in the 38th minute, after a left wing corner was misjudged by Blackman, who could only palm that ball into the path of Jordan Cullinane-Liburd, who nodded into an empty net.
The hosts could have gone into half time back in front, after Miguel Azeez's effort was played into the path of Mo Sangare, but his shot hit the outside of the post.
Tamworth had the ball in the back of the net after two minutes of the restart, an acrobatic effort from Stefan Mols was flagged for offside. Miguel Azeez broke on the counter attack, finding Jack Nolan out wide, he then found Ben Williams at the back post but his header was saved.
It was the 65th minute when the Shrimps retook the lead, with a fine counter attacking move. Azeez drove forward initially, and Mo Sangare's did well to work the ball onto his left foot on the edge of the area. His initial effort was pushed into the path of Chris Popov who made no mistake from 10 yards out.
Morecambe were coping well with an aerial bombardment of balls into their box, but succumbed to a leveller six minutes from time.
A long Tom Tonks throw was flicked on to the back post, and after Blackman spilled the ball, substitute Oliver Lynch tapped home the rebound from close range.
Morecambe travel to Southend United in the National League on Saturday.
