Morecambe Football Club has once again earned success at the British Pie Awards.
The club gained two silver awards in the Sports Club Pie category at the annual celebration of the great British pie.
The national awards, held annually in Melton Mowbray, have been running since 2009 and Morecambe FC has won many accolades for the quality of its pies over the years, including winning Supreme Champion honours in 2011 and 2014, and football club pie class champion on several occasions.
The club has been less successful at the British Pie Awards in recent years but bounced back this year with recognition for the club's Bramley Apple Pie and Moroccan Chicken & Apricot Pie.
"Morecambe Football Club are delighted to announce that our in-house catering team has been recognised on the national stage, securing two Silver Awards at the prestigious British Pie Awards," said a club spokesperson.

"Our Bramley Apple Pie and Moroccan Chicken & Apricot Pie both impressed judges, earning silver honours in their respective categories against some of the finest producers from across the UK.
"The British Pie Awards, held annually in Melton Mowbray, celebrate the very best of British pie-making, with hundreds of entries judged on taste, texture, appearance, and overall quality.
"To be recognised at this level is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the passion and craftsmanship of our catering team here at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium.
"These award-winning pies are a staple of our events and hospitality, and this recognition further underlines the club’s commitment to delivering a first-class experience off the pitch.
"Everyone at Morecambe Football Club would like to congratulate our catering team on this outstanding achievement."
