Every kick, every game, every goal - Shrimps Live is back!

Beyond Radio is once again partnering with Morecambe Football Club for full match commentary of every game in the National League season.

Morecambe fans will be able to listen to uninterrupted radio commentary of every single game in both league and cup, home and away, which will be broadcast across all of Beyond Radio’s platforms, including on 103.5 an 107.5FM across Lancaster and Morecambe Bay, and worldwide online on the Beyond Radio mobile app, at the website beyond.radio, and via smart speakers by simply asking it to ‘play Beyond Radio’.

Hosting Shrimps Live once again is experienced broadcaster, Dave Salmon. Dave has almost 30 years experience in the media industry, and is no stranger to the Mazuma Mobile Stadium, having been the station’s lead commentator for Morecambe FC since 2021, covering almost 250 games.

Speaking ahead of the new season, Dave said: ‘’I am tremendously excited and honoured to be invited back for a fifth season of commentary.

‘’Beyond Radio has established itself as an integral part of the local community in recent years and this is reflected in the station’s ongoing significant investment in the coverage, which has gone from strength to strength.

‘’These are exciting times for Morecambe Football Club under their new ownership, and I can’t wait to see how the season develops in the coming weeks and months.

‘’We always try and make the coverage as interactive as possible for supporters, both on air and online, to deliver a service that both the club and supporters can be proud of.’’

This season, Shrimps Live is proudly supported by pipe sealing brand TRUTITE™, exclusively manufactured and distributed by Plumbing & Heating Distribution, a company based at their headquarters in Heysham.
