
A busy couple of days at Morecambe FC has seen four new loan players arrive at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium.
Midfielder Elijah Dixon-Bonner joins on loan until January from Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers.
The 24-year-old joined spent six years at Hale End, before making the switch to the Liverpool academy in 2015.
Dixon-Bonner became a regular feature at Academy level and would also represent England at youth level in the years that followed.
After climbing through the ranks at the academy, he made his senior debut in Liverpool’s victory over Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup in 2020.
The midfielder left the Reds in the summer of 2022 and signed for Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
He gained valuable EFL experience during his time there, making 28 appearances for the West London side.
Last season, Dixon-Bonner spent two months on loan at Vasteras SK in Sweden but now joins the Shrimps on loan.
Central defender Maldini Kacurri is next to sign with the Shrimps on a six month loan from Arsenal.
The 19-year-old started his youth career at Fulham, before making the move to Arsenal in 2022 and became a regular feature of their Premier League 2 side.
He went on to sign his first professional contract with the Gunners in the summer of 2024 having gained valuable experience training with their first team.
Kacurri spent the end of last season on loan at EFL League Two side Bromley and now looks to continue his development with the Shrimps.
Just a week ago, Kacurri made his senior international debut for Albania, starting for his nation in their 1-0 win over Gibraltar.
Morecambe have also announced the loan singing of Arjan Raikhy from fellow National League side,Boston United.
The midfielder started his youth career at West Bromwich Albion, before signing for the Aston Villa Academy where he went on to feature regularly in their under-18 side.
After playing his part in Aston Villa under-18’s being crowned FA Youth Cup Champions, he signed a new contract and made his senior debut against Liverpool in the third-round of the FA Cup.
Having spent eight years with Villa, Raikhy signed for Leicester City with EFL loan spells at Stockport County and Grimsby Town also on his CV.
The 22-year-old now joins Morecambe FC on loan from Boston United, who he signed for in the summer.
Winger Emmerson Sutton also joins on loan until the new year from Queens Park Rangers.
The 18-year-old joined the QPR setup at Under-12 level after being scouted for his talent. In October 2024, Sutton made his first loan move to Hanwell Town, Three months later he returned to QPR and signed his first professional contract.
In April 2025, Sutton made his first-team debut for Queens Park Rangers coming on as a second-half substitute an also played in the League Cup for his parent club this season.
Morecambe welcome Wealdstone to the Mazuma Mobile Stadium on Saturday, kick off at 3pm.
