Heysham Atoms will hold a fundraising day off the back of a week of great success for the rugby league club.
The club will hold a 'Sponsored Tackle' event at the Powder House Lane rugby club in Lancaster this Sunday (July 23).
There will be a sponsored tackle event for kids, with an auction, raffle, barbecue, live music and games for the whole family.
All money raised will go to the club and Heysham Atoms hope to exceed the £6,500 they raised at last year's event.
The event comes just days after Heysham Atoms Ladies celebrated their first ever competitive win, defeating Wigan St Judes 12-10 (below).

Also, the club's Under 12s captain Harvey Adaramola was recently named players' player and player of the season in rugby, as well as sportsperson of the year, at the Ripley school sports awards.

The club has men's, ladies and junior teams and is the only rugby league club within a 30 mile radius.
Heysham Atoms' junior section has now expanded to 140 players, aged between four and 15, after starting seven years ago.
Sunday's event runs from 11.45am until late afternoon. Contact Josh on 07447 749276 for enquiries.
