Lancaster City boss Jimmy Marshall has won the Northern Premier League Premier Division’s September Manager of the Month award.
The Dolly Blues went unbeaten during the month and currently sit top of the division.
They started September with a 3-2 win at newly-relegated Rushall Olympic, before a dominant 2-0 win at home to Warrington Rylands.
Emphatic 3-1 wins at home to Ilkeston Town - which featured a stunning Sam Bailey goal from his own half - and away to Ashton United in dreadful conditions followed, before a 0-0 draw last weekend versus Guiseley.
The NPL said Marshall was the ‘clear winner’ of the award, which is voted for by the public, ahead of the other three candidates: Michael Dunwell of Stockton Town, Daniel Moore of Hebburn Town and Russ Wilcox of Gainsborough Trinity.
Lancaster City’s next game is the rescheduled Isuzu FA Trophy Third Round Qualifying tie at Prescot Cables on Tuesday, with a 7.45pm kick off.
The game was postponed on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch.
