Midfielder Brad Hubbold has left Lancaster City to rejoin Workington AFC after “an offer he couldn’t refuse”.
The 29-year-old has made the step down to the Northern Premier League Division One West after just under six months with the Dollies.
He left Workington AFC in June after a four year spell at the club, moving to the Giant Axe alongside Brad Carroll in the summer.
Hubbold was an ever-present for City before an injury last month.
Of his departure, Mark Fell said: “Brad is an excellent player, but he’s competing in a very strong midfield and it’s an area that we are over-subscribed.
"There was an approach for him at the weekend and he’s had an offer he can’t refuse.
“While we can’t guarantee anyone a place in our starting 11, we’ve agreed to release his registration so he can get back onto the pitch regularly in the league below."
