Lancaster City's clash with Bamber Bridge in the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy has been postponed.

The Giant Axe pitch is waterlogged.

A new date for the tie will be announced in due course.

The sides were set to clash in the second round of the competition, having both received a bye in the first round.

Lancaster City won the 2019/20 version of the competition, but only played the final of that competition in August last year, beating Prestwich Heys AFC 6-1.

The Dollies reached the semi-final stage of last season’s trophy but Southport knocked them out to reach the final.

Bamber Bridge exited the LFA Challenge Trophy in the second round last season at the hands of Chorley.

Bamber Bridge have been on the receiving end of some heavy defeats in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, but are ninth in the table.
