A late Admiral Muskwe penalty secured a point for the Shrimps at home against Scunthorpe United in the National League.
The striker’s goal in the seventh minute of stoppage time saw the match finish 2-2 at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Shrimps made six changes to the side that was humiliated 6-2 at Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Trophy in midweek, including seeing a debut for QPR loan defender Tim Akindileni, and the return in goal of Jamal Blackman, fresh from the stopper signing a deal to stay at the club until the end of the season.

Morecambe has a golden opportunity to open the scoring with less than 20 minutes in the clock. Gwion Edwards drove past his man and crossed low into the path of George Thomas, but somehow he failed to convert from close range.
The Shrimps took the lead in the 27th minute, as Lewis Payne latched onto a ball and played it into the path of Miguel Azeez who took aim with a 20 yard volley, which hit the base of the post and into the net via a rebound off goalkeeper Rory Mahady.
Next, Jack Nolan glided past his man and let fly which Mahady tipped over his bar. Nolan took the resulting corner short with some fantastic interplay with George Thomas. Nolan took it in his stride again and this time forced the keeper to make a good save driving a shot into the near post.
After going into the half time break a goal down, Scunthorpe United came out of the blocks fast for the second half, which led to them drawing level on the 49th minute through Callum Roberts, after a poor clearance from Azeez was played back in the box.
Ben Tollitt was subbed on in the 68th minute and involved straight away when he beat his man down the left, smashed a ball into the box but there was no red shirt to meet it and tap home.
The Iron took the lead moments later as a deep corner was nodded back across goal and Joe Rowley found himself free at the back post to smash into the roof of the net.
An equaliser nearly came through Miguel Azeez in the 83rd minute when his effort was deflected through multiple bodies and onto the post and into the arms of the goalkeeper.
Morecambe equalised right at the death, when the ball was played into the path of George Thomas, who was tripped in the area. Up stepped Adi Muskwe who sent the keeper the wrong way from 12 yards.
