Morecambe darts star Dave Chisnall looked impressive as he cruised through his first match at the televised BoyleSports World Grand Prix.

Chizzy rattled off six straight legs to down Cameron Menzies by two sets to nil in Leicester on Tuesday night, live on Sky.

The in-form Chisnall, whose recent wins have seen him rise to world number five, blitzed Menzies in a clinical display including four maximum 180s in just six legs.

He then finished off Menzies with double 16 with his first dart to move into Round 2, where he will face Dimitri Van Den Bergh on Thursday.

Chisnall is coming off wins in the Players Championship 23 Tournament and the Flanders Darts Trophy, as he bids to win his first ever televised major.
