Morecambe recorded a deserved victory after the Shrimps beat Brackey 2-0 in the National League on Tuesday evening.
In an overall very comfortable night for the Shrimps, goals in the first half from Jack Nolan and in the second half from Maldini Kacurri was enough to secure all three point for Ashvir Johal’s men.

The Shrimps controlled the first half without testing Maxted in the Brackley goal, until the breakthrough came through Jack Nolan in the 25th minute, when he took aim from outside the area and his strike found the bottom corner.
Minutes later, it could have been a second as Jack Nolan's bending effort was tipped wide by Jonathan Maxted.
Brackley Town came out of the blocks quickly in the second half, winning an early free kick deep into the Morecambe half, but Morgan Roberts stepped up and blazed the effort way over the crossbar.
The visitors had the ball in the net on the hour mark, as Connor Hall nodded in from close range following a corner on the right, but the goal was ruled out for offside, with replays showing it was perhaps a marginal decision going in favour of the home side.
A second came for the Shrimps in the 68th through Maldini Kacurri, as Jake Cain's curling left footed free kick forced Maxted into a low save, but the ball rolled into the path of the Arsenal loanee, who smashed it into the roof of the net for his first goal for the club.
Jack Nolan came inches away from finding his second with a powerful effort from distance that went wide of the right post, as the Shrimps played out the rest of the contest to secure a vital three points that moves them to within goal difference of moving out of the National League relegation zone.
