Morecambe’s League Two match against Crewe Alexandra has been postponed due to international call ups.
The fixture, scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 18 at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium, will be rearranged after a number of members of the Shrimps’ squad received call ups for their respective nations.
They include striker Michael Mellon, who has scored 11 times this season, being selected again for Scotland U21s.
Previously, midfielders JJ McKiernan and Eli King, and defender Jacob Bedeau, have been given international recognition for Wales U21, Northern Ireland U21 and Grenada respectively, while Adam Mayor has been on the stand by list for England U20s.
It’s the third time this season that Morecambe have had a fixture postponed, after similar call ups affected the games against Barrow and Crawley Town.
Details of the new fixture date and ticketing information will be provided when available.
