Nick Clark has been named as Morecambe FC Women’s new joint first team manager.
Clark, who is also Westmorland Football League Division Three side Millhead FC’s men’s team’s first team manager, has been involved previously with the club’s management team.
He will be joint manager of the Shrimps Ladies, alongside Ben Anderson.
He is also the founder of his own coaching company, NJC Coaching, and holds a UEFA C Licence.
Nick previously won the league with the Morecambe FC Women Reserves.
Morecambe FC Women said they are “extremely confident that this is an appointment that will push the club in the right direction and help us achieve our targets.”
Clark was present at Morecambe FC Women’s 0-0 draw with Carlisle United Ladies at Lancaster University on Sunday (January 7) in the North West Women’s Regional League Division One North.
The team are currently 10th in the table, four points clear of the drop zone.
They usually play their home games at Galgate FC’s Recreational Ground.
Nick Clark and first team captain Yasmine Carswell will be guests on this Saturday’s Saturday Sports Show, from 9am until 11am on Beyond Radio.
