Lancaster City won the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy, after they beat Padiham 1-0 in the final on Wednesday night.
Nic Evangelinos scored the only goal of the game after 11 minutes, in the showpiece final played at the County Ground in Leyland.
The striker home from the edge of the box following a corner to give the Dolly Blues an early lead that proved to be the winner.
City had further chances to extend their lead in the second half, thanks to efforts from Steven Yawson, Bobby Bjork and Dom Lawson, who saw his shot cleared off the line in stoppage time.

At the other end Padiham, who play two levels below Lancaster in the North West Counties Premier Legaue and have qualified for the play-offs, had several efforts saved by goalkeeper Brad Kelly, including tipping one header over the crossbar.
It’s the first time Jimmy Marshall’s men have won the trophy since 2020, and the manager will be hoping to take the positivity of the win into the final two Northern Premier League games of the season.
The Dollies are just a point away from a play off spot, and the chance of National League North football next season, ahead of a trip to fellow contenders Stockton Town on Saturday, kick off at 3pm.
