Rising boxing star Nelson Birchall from Morecambe stayed undefeated with victory on a major card in Germany.
'The Sexy One' beat Wilbert Pantinn who retired after five rounds of the contest in Dusseldorf.
Birchall moves to 10-0 in his career as a promising super featherweight, after taking Saturday night's fight at short notice.
The fast-punching southpaw unleashed a series of heavy blows towards the end of round five on Pantinn after controlling the fight from the off.
The bout was on the undercard of top heavyweight contender Agit Kabayel's win over Damian Knyba in front of a sold out arena.
Birchall will now move on to fight on 'The Magnificent Seven' show at the Co-Op Live in Manchester on Saturday January 24.
The Morecambe man is due to face Ryan Griffiths from Dudley for the Commonwealth youth super featherweight title, on the undercard of the Moses Itauma-Jermaine Franklin heavyweight clash.
Nelson's brothers Leighton and William are also undefeated as boxing professionals.
