A renowned group of American paratroopers have been announced for the line-up for the Lancaster and Morecambe Armed Forces Weekend.
The American Airborne 505 will be heading to Morecambe Promenade for the event, which this year runs across three days between Friday June 19 until Sunday, June 21.
They'll feature 15 living tents over three days, three dining halls, at least three World War Two jeeps, mortars, 30cal machine gun, a World War Two Bazooka, and a static weapon demonstration.
All weapons are deactivated and fire blank rounds.
As Beyond Radio revealed in February, other attractions at the event include a provisional booking of The Red Devils, The RAF Falcons and The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, along with an appearance from ‘Mr and Mrs Churchill’.
There will also be a static Spitfire, the Samba Espirito drumming band, The Accrington Pipe Band, a military parade, a re-enactment, a biker parade, in addition to stalls, charities and organisations in attendance.
Armed Forces Day is a chance for people to show their support to those who make up the Forces community, from currently serving personnel to service families, veterans and cadets.
At last year's event, the world famous aerial display team the Red Arrows flew over Morecambe Bay twice at Armed Forces Day, drawing huge crowds to the Stone Jetty.
