The original lead singer of indie band Kasabian is bringing his new spoken word to Morecambe.
Tom Meighan, who fronted the band through some of their biggest triumphs from 1997 to 2020, is hitting the road for an intimate new tour.
He’ll share the highs and lows of his career in a revealing tour, which kicks off in spring 2027 and includes a date at The Platform on May 5.
With 11 platinum records and five consecutive UK number one albums, Tom is a generational frontman headlining festivals, storming the charts, and commanding headlines across a defining era of British music.
Following the release of a new album in 2025 and a run of sold-out shows, he now invites audiences to experience something more intimate and revealing.
These confessional evenings see Tom share his life stories the highs, the lows, and the extraordinary years at the heart of Kasabian, alongside an acoustic performance accompanied by his guitarist.
Raw, honest, and unfiltered, this is a rare chance to hear the stories behind the songs. It’ll be a wild ride and a show that true fans will not want to miss.
Tom said: “It’s been brilliant getting back out on the road and playing to sell-out crowds.
‘’This will be a change of gear for me, a chance to perform acoustically in more intimate settings, and share the highs and lows of my career.”
Tickets are now on sale. Full details at www.awaywithmedia.com/tours
