That's exactly what happened to Lancaster musician James Mackie when he got the job as keyboard player with music legends Madness. Also an acclaimed artist, James is now part of blues band The Out and Outs, and spoke to Matilda about his incredible career which also included a stint with 2 Tone legends The Selecter.
