Beyond Radio has broadcasted live from opening day of the new St John's Hospice shop in Lancaster.
Greg Lambert and Chris Brookbanks were at the opening of the new shop on Caton Road on Friday morning for a special edition of our weekly local news show 'Beyond the Headlines'.
The new shop is the hospice's 10th charity shop in the local area.
Items sold at the shop help to raise money for the Slyne Road hospice to provide palliative care for members of the community in North Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Hospice services include an inpatient ward for end-of-life care as well as pain and symptom management, a Hospice at Home service for people who choose to spend their last time at home and need support, clinical nurse specialists who support people with planning and pain and symptom management, and a respite service for carers of loved ones who need respite time during the day or night.
St John's also offers pre and post bereavement support plus other services you may not associate with a hospice such as social workers and therapists.
During the broadcast, Greg interviewed members of the St John's Hospice team, hospice supporters from Lancaster company Premierline.
We were also joined by special guest, local singer Amy Jo, who dropped in to chat about her new 'Songs from the Bay EP'.

Here are more photos from our day at the St John's Hospice Shop, where we were also joined by Beyond Radio team members Mateo Sanderson and Luke Stutchbury.
