A warm welcome to the new host of our weekly sport show on Beyond Radio.
Ed Glover will present the Saturday Sport Show for the first time this Saturday, March 7.
Ed, 28, lives in Morecambe and is studying sports journalism at the UA92 university in Manchester.
He is passionate about all sport, particularly rugby, football and cricket, and is looking forward to his new role.
Ed has been co-presenting Saturday Sport for the past few weeks, and now steps into the main presenter role following the departure of Ross Chapman.
"I want to continue on the good work that Ross and Alistair Fisher have done on the Saturday Sport Show in championing local sport and local sport stars," said Ed.
"I am big on promoting the local area and particularly supporting local people who play sport in the local area, and giving them recognition."
Ed will be joined by local sports coach Chris Haggan to talk about the International Youth Games on the Saturday Sport Show this Saturday from 9am on Beyond Radio.
