Beyond Radio presenter Phill Hayward has won on a popular daily BBC Radio 2 pop quiz hosted by Vernon Kay.
Phill was a contestant on Monday morning's 'Ten to the Top' and came out on top, scoring 34 points to beat his opponent.
On 'Ten to the Top', players have to answer 10 questions on pop music trivia, gaining an ever-increasing number of points for correct answers.
Phill answered seven questions correctly, including what year did EMF reach the Top 3 with Unbelievable (1990) and what was the name of the 1992 hit by rap duo Kriss Kross (Jump).
His opponent Gerard from Wakefield scored 24 points so our man was the day's winner.
Phill also had an on-air chat with Vernon before the questions, including telling him all about Beyond Radio!
"I've been DJing since I was 15 years old, I'm 64 now, it's good, we have a lot of volunteers, it's a community radio station and we try to bring the community together with local news and getting out and about," said Phill.
Vernon said: "It will keep you up to date with everything that's going on in the Morecambe area, good for you!"
They also had some good-natured banter over their respective favourite football teams, Lancashire rivals Phill's beloved Blackburn Rovers and Vernon's Bolton Wanderers!
Phill presents his own daytime show on Beyond Radio from Mondays to Thursdays from 10am to 2pm, as well as the Guess the Local Year show on a Sunday from noon to 3pm.
