Beyond Radio is delighted to welcome Dom Molloy as the new host of our Breakfast show.
Dom has a wealth of experience in local radio. His career began on hospital radio at Leigh infirmary, then he started a college radio station, before moving on to work for Radio Warrington, Chorley FM, The Revolution in Oldham and Central Radio in Blackpool.
He loves music, films, relaxing, fishing, taking his red fox Labrador George for walks along Lancaster Canal, and his claim to fame is that his uncle is the brother of famous steeplejack Fred Dibnah!
Dom said: "I'm so excited to join the team at Beyond Radio and the responsibility of being there to start the day and to have the opportunity to share what people are doing in North Lancashire.
"My love for music was taught to me by my sister and I loved hearing new music and iconic music on John Peel's show, which is where I fell in love with music.
"I love the connection of radio, the one to one direct dialogue of sharing life's moments, being idiosyncratic and sharing my sarcastic take to life."
Duncan Moore, Beyond Radio managing director, said: "I'm really pleased to be welcoming Dom to the Beyond Radio presenting team.
"I'm sure his warm and friendly style and his radio experience will bring a great deal to our already established breakfast offering.
"We pride ourselves in providing local radio for local people and Dom will help us continue that tradition by bringing listeners a locally focussed and upbeat breakfast show wrapped around our reputation for playing great music by local musicians as well as all your favourite and emerging artists."
You can join Dom Molloy on the Beyond Breakfast show every weekday from 6am to 10am, starting on Monday June 12.
