New Beyond Radio presenter Danny Matthews has shared some incredible stories from his career including broadcasting during the Storm Desmond floods and a memorable interview with Sir Rod Stewart!
Danny, who is best known locally for hosting the award-winning Breakfast show on The Bay radio in Lancaster, is coming to Beyond Radio to host his Solid Gold Sunday show - starting this Sunday (June 18) at 9am-noon.
Ahead of his Beyond Radio debut, Danny popped in to The Resident show to chat to Greg Lambert about his career which began at the age of 14 when his mum answered an ad on his behalf, getting him started at Piccadilly Radio in Manchester!
