Beyond Radio has hosted the live music stage at a popular community festival in Lancaster.

The Fairfield Festival took place on Fairfield Playground, Wingate-Saul Road, on Saturday.

Crowds of people enjoyed a day of food, drink, family activities and a live music line-up hosted by Beyond Radio's Greg Lambert.

Musicians performing on the day were Grace Monaco, Boogie Bill Roberts, Burst Horns, Diverted Traffic, Solstice, Captain Cabaret, The Beets, Gabriella T and Jasmine T, and Silver Raven.

Support came from the Beyond Radio team including Duncan Moore, Luke Edmondson, Sam Cragg, Beth Pipe and Beyond Bear.

The event was organised by the Fairfield Association, founded in 1996 with the object of preserving, enhancing and maintaining green spaces for the benefit of the public.

The charity is entirely volunteer-run and looks after the Fairfield Playground, the Community Orchard, the Fairfield Nature Reserve and the Aldcliffe Road Triangle.

Beyond Radio's Beth Pipe spoke to some of the musicians, organisers and visitors to the festival.
