It's been 50 years since punk music exploded to prominence in the UK and we've been looking back with the front man of a Lancaster band who were popular at the time.
Ged Hegarty was lead singer with Interference, a top punk band of the late '70s who supported The Clash at the Great Hall, Lancaster University.
Ged visited us in the Beyond Radio studio to talk about his days with Interference, his memories of the punk scene in general, and some of the long-gone Lancaster venues that were a major part of the local music scene at the time.
