Morecambe's longest running music festival gets name change and new venue

The Nice 'n' Sleazy punk festival has been renamed Sleazy Live

Morecambe's longest-running music festival will return in 2025 with a new name and a new venue.

Nice 'n' Sleazy punk and ska festival has been renamed 'Sleazy Live' and will take place at Johnny's Warehouse Bar on the seafront in Morecambe from May 23-25 2025.

Organisers have announced a line-up including SkaFace, former TenPole Tudor front man Ed Tudor Pole, Kid Klumsy and Mille Manders and the Shut Up.

Early bird tickets are now on sale.

Nice 'n' Sleazy, now Sleazy Live, is the longest-running music festival in the town, having started in 2006 after the big 'Wasted' punk festival moved from Morecambe to Blackpool. It was previously held at the Trimpell Club in Morecambe.

Sam Harrison, organiser of Sleazy Live, said: "We've been working hard behind-the-scenes to get a good strong line-up for next year.

"We've changed the name and the venue but Sleazy will still be over three days with more than 80 bands."

This year's Nice 'n' Sleazy, held in May at the Trimpell with an opening night at The Exchange in Morecambe, was the 17th, making it the longest running current music festival in Morecambe.

Earlier this year the future of the festival was under threat after a row over funding with Morecambe Town Council.
