Knives 'intended to be used as offensive weapons' were seized during a drug raid in Morecambe.
A commando knife, a lock knife and parts to a replica weapon were recovered after police executed a warrant on Marine Road West.
They also seized a small amount of drugs during the raid on August 1.
Det Insp Adie Knowles, speaking on his regular Beyond the Beat show on Beyond Radio on Tuesday, said: "We were particularly looking for drugs but if we do a search and we find those kind of weapons, we are going to seize them, because they are intended to be used as an offensive weapon."
New laws coming in soon will make it an imprisonable offence to own, make, transport of sell a wide range of 'statement knives' used by criminal gangs, including zombie-style knives and machetes.
An amnesty and compensation scheme for people in England and Wales who own these knives is under way, ahead of the new legislation coming into force on September 24.
"There has been an increase in recovery of them, connected to serious assaults or organised crime," said Det Insp Knowles.
"It is those kind of zombie knives or machetes where there is no other use for it, other than to seriously hurt someone.
"They are looking to tighten up the legislation even further to try to stop the more serious assaults and stabbings that unfortunately we do see in most areas."
From August 26 until September 23, you can hand in prohibited weapons safely at Lancaster Police Station. Compensation is available.
If you have any information about drug dealing please contact police on 101, visit Morecambe or Lancaster police stations, or you can give information anonymously by calling the free Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
