A man had to be rescued after suffering injuries while out walking on the fells near Lancaster.
The Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team attended the scene at Grit Fell, close to Jubilee Tower near Quernmore on Thursday.
They were called to assist by the Police Air Support Unit.
Once in attendance the team treated the casualty for his injuries and then stretchered him the two kilometres down to the waiting ambulance at Jubilee Tower.
