A new public telescope has been installed on the Promenade to allow people to enjoy views across Morecambe Bay.
The free to use, wheelchair accessible telescope was installed on the West End Promenade, close to the Battery, last week.
It was installed by Lancaster City Council and funded by resident-led community project the West End Million.
"It's perfect for getting a close-up across the bay or on wildlife - you can find it opposite the Battery play area," said a council spokesperson.
