Onlookers on Morecambe Prom got a glimpse of a police car chase scene being filmed for TV series The Bay.
The scenes involving a motorbike and an unmarked vehicle were shot in glorious sunshine on Thursday.
Sections of Marine Road Central and some side streets were closed off to traffic during the day, but open to pedestrians who watched from the roadside.
The Prom was a hive of activity, as several members of the TV production crew with walkie-talkies were a visible presence, and the Buzz Bingo car park was being used as a filming base.
The Bay team are in town to film a sixth series of the Morecambe-based crime drama.
Businesses remained open during the shoot.

Morecambe BID (Business Improvement District) posted on Facebook on Thursday to say: "THE PROM IS OPEN — AND YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU.
"You may notice some temporary road closures around the Promenade area today as ITV continue filming scenes for The Bay here in Morecambe.
"Whilst we appreciate it can cause a little disruption during half term, productions like this bring fantastic exposure to the town, support local businesses, and showcase Morecambe to millions of viewers across the UK.
"Importantly — Morecambe is very much OPEN FOR BUSINESS today.
"If you’re heading into town today, please do continue to support our amazing local businesses whilst enjoying the buzz of filming taking place around the seafront.
"Thank you for your patience and support whilst filming takes place — and thank you for continuing to support Morecambe."

There was also lots of reaction to the filming on Beyond Radio's Facebook page.
Violet said: "Love it! They are also meant to be filming at the Beach Cafe at the Battery! I’ll have a fantastic view of that from home!"
Alison said: "Excellent. The weather is great, the tide is in, good day to film us."
And Cindy B said: "Can't wait for next series."

But there was also some criticism about the timing of the filming, coming during the half-term school holidays.
Samantha said: "Think it's absolutely crazy doing it half term week for the businesses in town."
Keith said: "Absolutely shocking decision to do this in half term. As usual zero planning. Would love to know who agreed to it being done this week."
And Andy said: "Feel for the businesses especially when it’s half term losing trade."
Since beginning on ITV1 in 2019, The Bay has gained a huge following as a fictional team of Morecambe police try to solve crimes amid the beautiful and sometimes haunting backdrop of the town and the surrounding area.
