Police have made further arrests and are continuing to appeal for information after a man was stabbed followed by disorder on a Lancaster housing estate.
Detective Inspector Adie Knowles has provided an update into the incidents which happened on the Ryelands estate on Friday August 14.
Det Insp Knowles said nine people had been interviewed by police under caution, three of whom were adults.
He said four of these people have been arrested.
Det Insp Knowles said officers were called to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary on August 14 to a report of a 30-year-old man with stab wounds after a stabbing believed to have occurred on Ryelands Park or close to the bridge onto the estate, that afternoon.

"Officers went onto the Ryelands estate to conduct enquiries into that, which then results in disorder of people coming out onto the street," said Det Insp Knowles, speaking on his regular Beyond the Beat segment on Beyond Radio on Tuesday evening.
"We've had to make arrests for public order offences and damage to a police vehicle.
"There must have been 70 plus people on the street, with flour and eggs and various things thrown at police officers which has resulted in a wider investigation into that disorder."

Police put a 48-hour dispersal order in place in Ryelands and the surrounding area following the incident, after initially making two arrests - of a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of criminal damage, and a 32-year-old man from Lancaster on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
A Section 34 dispersal order gives officers powers to order a person who has committed, or is likely to commit, anti-social behaviour to leave a specified area and not return for a specified period.
