Morecambe made it seven straight wins at home with a 2-0 victory over Scarborough in National League North.
The last time the Shrimps achieved the feat was in 2010, when they won their final six ever games at Christie Park, followed by the first ever match at the then Globe Arena.

There was a dream start for the Shrimps. In the opening minutes, Ruben Curley sent an early effort narrowly wide before moments later, an Elliot Newby floated delivery on the right found Marcus Neill at the back post, and the Sunderland loanee forward met it in the air to head home on his full debut.

The Shrimps doubled their lead in the 22nd minute. Ben Williams picked out Paul Lewis with a pinpoint delivery into the box, and Lewis provided a bullet header to make it 2–0, claiming his fourth goal of the season.
Morecambe continued to press, but efforts from Cameron Coxe and Neill were blocked. Myles Boney had little to do at the other end before the break.
The second half was stopped soon after the restart due to a medical emergency involving a visiting Scarborough supporter, and didn’t resume for almost 45 minutes.
When play got back under way, Neill soon slipped Matty Daly through on goal, but his effort lacked power and was saved. Boney was then called into action, producing a crucial full-stretch save to deny the visitors.
Morecambe went close to extending their lead on several occasions. Isaac Buckley-Ricketts struck the crossbar when he was played through by Curley one-on-one, then Curley himself rattled the woodwork with an effort of his own, and Teddy Collis forced the goalkeeper into a low save at full stretch.
The Shrimps saw out the closing stages to claim a 2–0 victory.
