Two students from Beaumont College have been learning how to prepare and produce a radio show while on work experience with Beyond Radio.
Kayla and Oli have been under the wing of Beyond Radio presenters Luke Edmondson and Sam Cragg to gain the skills to present their own shows on the local radio station for Lancaster and Morecambe Bay.
"It has been fabulous getting to know Kayla and Oli, they both have worked really hard and have learned many skills along the way," said Sam, Head of Volunteer Support at Beyond Radio.
"It's been great fun."
Luke, Volunteer Training Lead at Beyond Radio, said: “It was great to have both Oli and Kayla at Beyond Radio on their work experience from Beaumont College.
"it’s always great to see young adults getting stuck in, leaving us after a work placement with a beaming smile and really proud of themselves. They were a credit to not only themselves but the college too.”
Beaumont College, on Slyne Road in Lancaster, supports students with a range of physical and learning disabilities.
