A photo of the Princess of Wales taken by our Beyond Radio photographer has been celebrated at an international awards ceremony.
Josh Brandwood took the striking image of Princess Catherine during her visit to Lancaster fabric printing company Standfast & Barracks last year, where she visited as part of the company’s 100th anniversary celebrations.
Josh’s image, entitled ‘A Smile Fit for a Future Queen’, was shortlisted at the annual Event Photography Awards, in the Best Amateur category, with a prestigious ceremony taking place this week in London.

As part of the ceremony, the photograph was prominently displayed in an exhibition at the Royal Institute of British Architects.
"It was a tremendous honour and privilege to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award,’’ Josh told Beyond Radio.
‘’While I didn't win, it's still a significant achievement considering it was my first time entering a photography competition, competing against professional photographers who do this full time.’’
