Beyond Radio will once again be supporting one of the area's biggest community events with a special live outside broadcast from Morecambe Music Festival 2026.
The station is one of the principal sponsors of this year's festival and will be broadcasting live on Saturday July 11 from Morecambe Winter Gardens from 2pm to 5pm, thanks to the support of the venue as official broadcast sponsor.
Now in its ninth year, Morecambe Music Festival has become one of the town's most anticipated annual events, attracting thousands of visitors and showcasing the incredible musical talent found across the region.
Taking place from Thursday July 9 to Sunday July 12, the free festival features performances across more than 40 venues throughout Morecambe, including bars, restaurants, cafés, public spaces, community venues and outdoor locations.
The festival celebrates a diverse range of musical genres, from rock, indie, folk, jazz and blues through to acoustic, pop and original contemporary music.

Alongside established performers, the event provides a platform for emerging artists and local talent, helping to nurture the next generation of musicians.
Highlights include the popular Live and Loud showcase organised by More Music, featuring young original artists from the award-winning community music charity.
Throughout the weekend, audiences will be able to enjoy hundreds of live performances, creating a vibrant atmosphere across the town and reinforcing Morecambe's growing reputation as a destination for arts, culture and live entertainment.
Beyond Radio's special live broadcast on the Saturday will feature interviews with festival organisers, performers and supporters, along with updates from across the event and coverage of some of the weekend's highlights.
"To see Morecambe Music Festival reach its ninth year is something we're incredibly proud of," said Stuart Michaels, festival organiser.
