A 20 foot Christmas tree will be installed in Bare this year and residents can have their names displayed on a 'Santa's Nice List' next to it.
Morecambe Town Council will install the decorated and illuminated tree on the corner of Bare Lane and Mayfield Drive.
For a £5 donation, supporters can have their name, the name of a friend or family member added to Santa’s Nice List, which will be displayed proudly beside the tree.
All proceeds will go directly towards funding the Bare Lane Christmas Tree project and ensuring its success in future years.

Once decorations have been installed, residents are encouraged to take photos with the tree and share them on social media using the hashtag #BareChristmas.
"Morecambe BID do a great job providing lights in the town centre, so at the town council we’re looking to spread the festive cheer more widely around the town," said Councillor Lee Bradbury, chairperson of Morecambe Town Council’s Festivals, Sponsorships and Events Committee.
"We hope the tree will help increase footfall, prompt a little pre-Christmas trading lift for Bare businesses and help boost the community’s Christmas spirit throughout December."
This is anticipated to be the first in a series of seasonal investments in the public realm from Morecambe Town Council, with further plans for the West End and Westgate due to be announced later this week.
The council has also supported the West End Traders and Community Group Christmas lights, More Music’s West End Winter Lantern Festival, and Bare Community Association’s Christmas on the Crescent event this year via its two grant funds.
