A registered sex offender is back behind bars after failing to comply with his notification requirements.
Christopher Spelman, 66, was released on licence from prison in Dorset in July last year having served a sentence for 12 offences of indecent assault committed in the Carnforth area several years ago.
As part of his sexual offender notification requirements, Spelman was required to notify Lancashire Police of an address where he was living and could be contacted - wherever in the country that was.
But he failed to do that, instead choosing to travel around and live in a tent.
Wanted appeals were put out for him, and on January 3 he was arrested in the Haverfordwest area of South Wales.
Spelman, of no fixed address, appeared for sentence at Swansea Crown Court after pleading guilty to breaching sexual offender notification requirements.
He was jailed for 10 months.
