Family and friends of a Lancaster motorcycle lover have appealed for help from fellow bikers to escort him on his final farewell.
Jermaine Logan, who died on March 20, was hugely passionate about bikes and could often be found heading off in his spare time for a ride on his motorcycle which was his pride and joy.
So his loved ones are looking for bikers to help give the dad-of-two the best send off possible.
They are asking for them to lead Jermaine's funeral cortege on Thursday April 7, starting from the family home on Green Lane in Lancaster.
Charlotte Hopwood, posting on Facebook, said: "We are looking for bikers to give Jermaine Logan the biggest and best send off possible.
"Jermaine was a dedicated husband, a doting father, and one of the best friends anyone could have wished for.
"Anyone that crossed paths with Jermaine will have known how truly special this man was, a real character, funny, kind, caring, and loyal.
"He was passionate about bikes and could always be found heading off in his spare time for a ride - come rain, hail, or shine!
"So we are appealing to any bikers to take part in this very special occasion in escorting this special man one last time on his final journey to heaven.
"This would mean the world to his amazing wife Danielle and their beautiful children Brooke and Jamie and it should be done in true Jermaine style."
More details about the appeal for 'Jermaine's Final Ride' can be found here.
Meanwhile an online fundraiser has been set up to help Jermaine's family.
The fundraiser can be found here.
It has already raised £2,430 towards funeral costs.
Jeana Sweeney, who set up the page, said that Jermaine was "passionate about his beliefs and spoke his mind.
"He was never too serious about life and could always be found laughing, and joking. But most of all a true gentleman that would have done anything to help you."
Jermaine's funeral will be held on April 7 at 10am at the Church of the Ascension in Torrisholme.
