A fundraising gig will be held in memory of a much-loved pub landlord who was a huge supporter of live music in Lancaster.
Tributes have been paid following the death of Pascal Meulemeester, boss at the Park pub on St Oswald Street.
Born and raised in Bruges, Belgium, Pascal worked in the licensed trade for around 30 years, previously at the Black Horse in Preston and the Three Mariners pub near St George's Quay, before taking over at the Park in July.
A post on the George and Dragon pub Facebook page said: "Unfortunately the G&D community has suffered a great loss.
"Our friend, and fellow pub landlord Pascal Meulemeester has passed away.
"We did our fair share of events with Pascal during his time here on the Quay such as Quayfest, and would quite often help each other out.
"He was a friend to many in Lancaster, and in the G&D and was considered one of our own.
"A good ally to have, a valuable member of the G&D community, more importantly a true friend. You will be greatly missed."
A fundraising page has been set up by Fay Walker and Liam Mulgrew.
It says: "As many of you know, we lost our dear friend Pascal a few days ago. Words can't describe the loss friends and those closest to him feel.
"There will be a fundraising gig this Sunday the 23rd with musicians Pascal helped support over the years at The George and Dragon.
"A pub that Pascal frequented and partnered with during his time working at The Three Mariners, hosted by the amazing Amy Rae.
"Alongside this we have decided to set up this page in case anyone would like to donate and can't make Sunday. As a community we would like to raise some funds to help with costs to give our favourite giant friend the send off he deserves."
You can find the page HERE.
Local band Sold to the Sky posted: "We have lost a dear friend; the whole music and pub community has lost a dear friend.
"We are so shocked and saddened by this news, but we know everyone will come together to support each other and honour your memory Pascal.
"We played many times for Pascal down at the Mariners and we were trying to sort something for The Park next year too, chatting only a few weeks ago. We're all in shock.
"I hope he knew just how much everyone thought of him, and how he was absolutely one of our own in our great little city. RIP brother."
The fundraising gig will be held at the George and Dragon on St George's Quay on Sunday November 23 at 3pm.
The pub will also hold a charity quiz in Pascal's memory on December 3.
