A star of local musical theatre shows is about to become 'Starstruck' on Saturday night prime time television.
James Shields will be a contestant on the singing show 'Starstruck' this Saturday night (March 12) on ITV1.
James will transform into one of his singing idols hoping to impress an all-star judging panel of Adam Lambert, Sheridan Smith, Jason Manford and Beverley Knight.
"I can safely say this was THE best thing about 2021 for me, a truly spectacular once in a lifetime experience, meeting some amazing people, living out a lifelong dream and doing it all in complete secrecy!" said James.
The drama school graduate from Lancaster has appeared in many local theatre shows, including playing the lead role of 'Buddy the Elf' in the recent Elf: The Musical at the Grand Theatre.
But who will he be transforming into on Saturday night?
You will have to tune in to Starstruck, hosted by Olly Murs, on ITV1 at 8.30pm to find out!
