Students from Morecambe Bay Academy have raised money for two vital local charities.
Enthusiastic Year 10 pupils braved a cold December day to help raise £650 for Citizens Advice North Lancashire and Morecambe Bay Foodbank by selling Morecambe Bay 2026 calendars.
The calendars feature 12 stunning photographs of the Morecambe Bay area taken by staff and volunteers from both charities.
All the proceeds are going directly to support local people during the cost-of-living crisis and harsh winter months.
"I couldn't be prouder of our students," said Mrs Michelle Stephens, Head of Year 10 at Morecambe Bay Academy.
"They were absolutely brilliant - wearing Christmas hats, singing, and showing real natural talent for sales!
"Their enthusiasm was infectious, and they genuinely wanted to make a difference in their community."

Briony Scott, manager at Morecambe Bay Foodbank, said: "What a great community effort!
"These students have shown real compassion and dedication. We're so grateful for their support, and it's heartening to see the next generation stepping up to help those in need."
Caitlin, 14, who wants to be a police officer and help people when she leaves school, said: "It was brilliant fun!
"Yes, it was freezing, but we'd definitely do it again. It feels really good to help people in our town."
Citizens Advice North Lancashire provides free, impartial advice to anyone, whoever you are and whatever your problem.
Morecambe Bay Foodbank provides emergency food parcels and school uniforms to residents in need.
Last year alone, both charities helped over 15,000 people across the local area.
