The Winter Gardens in Morecambe has announced the date when it will reopen to the public for the 2022 season.
The grand old theatre will reopen once again for tours on Saturday April 9 at noon.
A spokesperson for the Winter Gardens said: "We shall look forward to welcoming everyone back to see all the work we have been busy carrying out."
This year the theatre celebrates its 125th birthday.
The Winter Gardens closed in 1977 but thanks to the determined efforts of volunteers, has been able to reopen regularly to the public in recent years.
Meanwhile Professor Vanessa Toulmin, chair of the Winter Gardens Preservation Trust, has called for more volunteers to join the restoration effort at the theatre.
"The volunteers are involved in a wide ranging series of activities but cover the main areas: restoration and maintenance, event support both weekends and our own events, stewarding and venue support for specific activities over the following year including Panto and heritage events," said Professor Toulmin.
"Without the support of the volunteers who last year contributed over 12,000 hours of support, the Winter Gardens would not be able to open and contribute to the future of Morecambe.
"So if you are able to spare a few hours on a weekend, event support for key events or being part of our maintenance and restoration team then we would love you to complete the form on the link below and get in touch. Full training will be provided and your reward will be knowing you are part of the recovery and regeneration of one of Morecambe's key heritage buildings."
