A fireworks display will be held on Morecambe Promenade this Saturday as part of a new event called 'Spring into Morecambe'.
The fireworks and laser show will blast off from the Stone Jetty on the evening of Saturday, March 26 at 7.30pm.
'Spring into Morecambe' has been organised by Morecambe Town Council and funded by the government's Welcome Back Fund.
It will also include an artisan street market and entertainment on Euston Road in the town centre, running from 10am to 5pm.
Free street entertainment will be provided by local artists Captain Cabaret (Bill Roberts), folk duo Avant Deux and stilt walkers from the Northern Heights Dance and Aerial Company.
The entertainment continues from 6pm at the Stone Jetty with Morecambe DJ Gareth James ahead of the firework display and laser show.
