Police have issued an appeal to find the owner of an abandoned mobility scooter believed to be stolen - amid a rise in similar thefts.
The mobility scooter was recovered by officers on Corringham Road, Morecambe on Tuesday afternoon.
If you recognise it, please email 5891@lancashire.police.uk.
"We’ve also seen a recent rise in mobility scooter thefts, and believe this abandoned mobility scooter was also stolen," said a Morecambe Area Police spokesperson.

"If you or anyone you know has a mobility scooter, please take these simple steps to help protect yours:
"TRACE – Fit a tracking device
"LOCK – Use approved security products (Sold Secure / MLA standard)
"COVER – A cover reduces visibility and deters thieves
"Remove the keys every time
"Consider fitting an alarm or immobiliser
"Store in a garage or shed where possible, or park in a well‑lit, discreet area
"Install CCTV to monitor your property
"Please stay vigilant and help us reduce thefts in the community."
Please call police immediately on 999 or report it via 101 if you discover your mobility scooter has gone.
