It's time to get muddy in aid of St John's Hospice!
The hospice has announced its first ever Morecambe Bay Mud Run taking place on Sunday May 8.
Walkers and runners will take on a mile-long course through the muddy sands near the Morecambe shore in a brand new fun event.
The Mud4It event will start from the slipway near the Morecambe Bay Sailing Clubhouse on the promenade and all proceeds will go to the Lancaster hospice.
Registration opens at 10am and the run will start at 11am.
Fancy dress is optional. Bear in mind whatever you wear, you will get covered in mud!
Male and female changing facilities will be available in gazebos.
The minimum age to enter the event is 11, all children must be accompanied by an adult (over 18).
Everyone must sign a disclaimer on the day before participating.
Online entries close at noon on Friday May 6 but sign ups will be allowed on the day.
